It all started at Iasi ::
The first literary memorial museum in Romania, Creanga’s Cottage, was inaugurated on 15th April 1918. Built in Ticau suburb, this is the house where Ion Creanga lived from July 1872 since his death, 31st December 1889. Here he met and became the friend of poet Mihai Eminescu, here he wrote his entire work: Stories, Tales and Childhood Memories.
